From Fine Arts to Wearable Designs
Starting at just eight years old, I, Jeanne, immersed myself in art by attending the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School twice a week. My passion led me to explore various mediums, from oil painting to working on my pottery wheel at home. As I grew, my love for art expanded into professional photography, proudly displaying my work on the walls of Mass General Hospital in Boston. What a privilege to see my art appreciated in such a significant place! This journey ultimately inspired me to create ART FROM THE HEART DESIGNS BY JEANNE MARIE DAMICO, where I blend my artistic talents into unique wearable art.
Diverse Artistic Pursuits
Art is deeply woven into every aspect of my life. Over the years, I sought to experience as many art forms such as tattoo and henna artist. You can see some of that experience reflected in my designs. My journey also led me to the fashion world, where I designed men's suits in Boston's financial district and worked as a bridal consultant. Each of these experiences enriched my artistic journey.
New Frontiers
I am thrilled to embrace a new artistic challenge with abstract art, a realm that has always intrigued me. I believe in facing challenges head-on, as they often reveal our greatest strengths. This adventurous spirit brought me to the creation of wearable art. Today, I showcase my art in various forms, including athletic wear, chiffon kimonos, bathing suits, dresses, men's clothing, handbags, shoes, and even Italian leather shoes made in Italy.
Inclusive Fashion
My designs cater to every body shape, wholeheartedly embracing this philosophy. My collections are available in sizes ranging from XS to 3XL, with some pieces extending up to 6XL. Additionally, I am proud to offer athletic wear made from recycled plastic bottles, which feel incredibly soft and luxurious.
Inspiring Creativity
Creating wearable art has been a dream come true for me as both an artist and a Certified Therapeutic Art Life Coach. My goal is to create fun and creative fashion for all ages.
